TeamWikis.com is built on top of the ProjectForum "wiki engine". As such, the following ProjectForum documentation and resources may be helpful:
Do I need to install any software?
No, the software runs on our servers, all you and your team need is a regular web browser.
Can anyone see or change the material in my wiki?
No. You control exactly who can access your wiki by creating accounts for the people in your team. You can also create more than one wiki, and provide everyone access to only the material they need.
Who operates TeamWikis.com?
TeamWikis.com is run by CourseForum Technologies, the same company that created ProjectForum.
How is TeamWikis.com different from the old ProjectForum hosting service?
In TeamWikis.com, all plans get their own ProjectForum site, all sites use always-on SSL, and storage limits are much higher. Plus you can get started right away with a 30 day free trial, and you can change plans at any time.
Can I run this inside my firewall?
You can license the underlying ProjectForum wiki software and run it on your own equipment. It's also easy to move from a hosted TeamWikis.com site to running your own site if your needs change down the road.
What plans are available?
We offer four different hosting plans:
|Number of Wikis||1||5||25||Unlimited|
|Storage||1 GB||5 GB||25 GB||50 GB|
All prices are in USD. It's easy to move between plans if your needs change, and you can cancel anytime. See the full Terms of Service.
How do I sign up for a paid plan?
You can sign up via the 'Site Administration' area of your trial site. We'll need your name, email and a credit card.
What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept Visa or Mastercard (sorry, not Amex at present), which are automatically billed monthly. If you require alternative payment arrangements, please get in touch with us, and we'll see what we can do.
